  1. Welcome to the Blues Session Blog. I shall be sharing with you some of the stuff that goes on during my shows when the microphone is off including pictures and video.

The Blues Session is almost 1 years old and so much has happened with the music, the live music and the many guests that have taken part in the shows.

The Blues Session is about Blues, R&B and Classic Rock and promotes live music both in local venues and in the studio.

To start the ball rolling a fantastic venue for a blues open mic jam is The Cricketers Pub in Row Town near Addlestone, Surrey. Sunday nights from 9pm is the electric blues jam and Wednesday night is the acoustic blues jam, again from 9pm so check this venue out, it’s a great live music venue.

Well I’m off to see The Phil Astles Band tonight at Jagz in Ascot… Review and pictures to follow.

    Keep music live!

  2. The recording session at the BBC Maida Vale Studio with Joe Bonamassa was fantastic. Many thanks to Paul Long (BBC Producer for Paul Jones) and Fran Leslie (Ed Blues in Britain Magazine) for arranging the guest ticket.
